Veldt Grape (Cissus Quadrangularis) | 1.5% Ketosterones – Powder, 100g
Cissus quadrangularis, otherwise known as the Veldt Grape, has been used as a medicinal plant since antiquity. In siddha medicine it is considered a tonic and analgesic, and is believed to help heal broken bones, thus its name asthisamharaka (that which prevents the destruction of bones). Cissus quadrangularis is a rich source of Ketosterones, which are likely responsible for it’s potential health benefits.
The Veldt Grape is a plant from the same family as grapes. It’s a tropical plant, native to Asia, Arabia and parts of Africa. The plant has been used in traditional medicines, including Ayurvedic medicine, around the world for millennia. It has been found to contain carotenoids, triterpenoids, and ascorbic acid. The plant also produces the resveratrol dimer quadrangularin A. The Assamese people and the Garo tribe of Meghalaya and Bangladesh believe in the use of this plant to treat bone fractures.
